Jennifer then decided to start her own firm in 2010, with clients ranging from restaurants, retail, entertainment, real estate, medical, legal, global and international companies and non-profit organizations.
Specializing in gaining public awareness for a variety of products and services, Evolve’s unique style is both fresh and innovative. Their broad client base proves their ability to adapt to a changing media environment and workplace. We help businesses foster relationships with the community and create an opportunity for them to stand out in this competitive market.
Evolve PR and Marketing offers such comprehensive services as public relations, branding, business and media consultation, strategic planning, event planning and more. Whatever the project may be, the Evolve team consults on clients needs and cultivates resources to meet their client’s business goals and objectives.
Upon becoming a client, Evolve will assess the past and current state of the company’s public relations and marketing campaign and devise a plan. This plan will include the overall client vision and a timeline with strategies and tactics that will garner the coverage and outcome that is sought after by each client.
While this plan acts as a guideline, Evolve prides itself on thinking outside the box when it comes to promotions, story angles and other avenues of keeping clients top of mind for media and target demographics.
Strong relationships and creative thinking allows Evolve to not only retain clients, but go above and beyond their client’s expectations when it comes to public relations, marketing and events.

A graduate from The Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications, at Arizona State University, Liz worked in New Mexico as a reporter for two years at KOB-TV before she decided to return home and pursue a career in public relations. Before starting at Evolve, Liz worked as a freelancer for Orca Communications doing national PR for clients. Liz brings that same passion for PR to the Evolve team.
This proud Sun Devil is happy to be back in the Valley of the Sun. Liz enjoys everything that the beautiful city of Phoenix has to offer: great weather, restaurants, and, of course, living close to her family.
Janice is an Arizona native and proud Sun Devil who has always had a knack for building relationships. Her inquisitive nature, natural people skills and love of the written word lead her to pursue a career in media.
During her time in college, Janice interned at ABC affiliate KGUN 9 News in Tucson. She was also a staff writer for her college's student magazine and Arizona Foothills Magazine. She graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communications and a second degree in Human Communications.
After graduation she became a writer for College Times magazine, where she covered the news, nightlife and shopping scene in The Valley. In order to satisfy her inner music nerd, she continues to write for Arena.com, a national online magazine and music streaming website.
Most recently Janice has gravitated to the marketing side of the business working for Gannett's digital marketing company, G/O Digital. There, her main role was to establishing and build relationships with business owners in order to help their business grow.
Though she loved her time in the editorial world and has learned a lot about marketing in the digital age, she knew her combined experiences were a great fit for a career in public relations. Now that she has joined the elite team at Evolve PR, she is eager to use her skills to help clients grow and increase their reach.
Carolyn brings seven years of public relations, editorial and marketing experience to the team. She has worked on both local and national campaigns landing clients in a variety of big-business publications. During college, she got her start in the industry as a lead editorial contributor for a Scottsdale-based beauty and spa website then switched over to the PR side, working with a variety of brands including retail, consumer packaged products, restaurants, real estate and more.
A Phoenix native, Carolyn is immersed in the happenings of the Valley and prides herself on her versatility and to work with any editorial medium – from broadcast to bloggers, social media influencers and beyond.
An Arizona State University graduate, Carolyn also attended the University of Arizona where she originally set out to pursue a career in corporate retail. Still a big fan of fashion, beauty and interior design, outside the office you’ll find Carolyn revamping her house, paging through a magazine or blogging about the latest skincare trend.
Lisa has always been drawn to the world of public relations. After graduating with a Communications and Sociology degree from Trinity University in Texas, she decided to see what Arizona has to offer. She brings a fresh perspective to the Evolve team, having come from a mixed background in hospitality, event planning and media relations.
From organizing some of the Valley’s biggest events to developing creative marketing campaigns, Lisa’s past experience has allowed her to develop a strong skill set suitable for public relations. Her strengths include media writing, multi-tasking and problem solving, with a keenness for understanding her clients’ needs.
When she’s not increasing her networking circle, she’s finding the next community event to be involved in. She also enjoys international travel, yoga and Sunday brunch.
With an expertise in public relations and community outreach that spans more than six years, Kistie brings to the Evolve team a background in outreach on the national and regional level. Having achieved exposure for her clients in national, trade and local press, she brings with her the ability to work well with all media outlets.
Born and raised in California’s Mojave Desert, and having worked in Los Angeles County for several years, Kistie brings an expanded knowledge of various markets and industries. Recently, before coming to Arizona, she worked in the commercial real estate industry on a national level, garnering exposure for clients within the built environment including those in architecture, construction, multifamily development, environment consulting, engineering, and real estate law. She has won several awards for her work and remains consistently focused on meeting client needs.
Kistie is a graduate of Brigham Young University – Idaho where she studied political science and public relations. When she’s not pitching stories for her clients, she can be found spending time with her husband, taking tennis lessons, watching classic movies, actively participating in her church group, playing a game of golf every once in a while, and volunteering her time on political campaigns at the national, state and local level.
Melissa is a student at Arizona State University studying Psychology and Marketing. She began as an intern at Evolve, but her strong work ethic and positive attitude quickly lead to her new, dynamic role on the team. Interested in pursuing a career in Public Relations upon graduation, Melissa immerses herself in the busy, daily office environment picking the brains of the Evolve team. She continues to build on her experience by offering administrative and account support.
In her free time, Melissa stays extremely active by going to the gym, running, hiking and dancing. She remains very involved at the University, participating in a variety of events around campus and cheering on the Sun Devils, especially during football season.
